A Visit with our Grandkids

Cade and Claire are up for their great grampa's funeral

Cade tried on Great Grampa's dress blues 

from 1949

 Claire's cute

 It actually fit him around

 and Claire too but not 

in length of course

And Claire had to try on her grampa's dress white

not as snug as great grampa's

Then we had to go thru my closets
Auntie Brooke's dress from one of the formals in
high school, maybe homecoming

Then down to real business

 I wanted an update of all four of them
Pete wasn't too happy about it
Cade either but he didn't show it

 A couple weeks ago we went over to Brooke's to help
watch the kids (me) while they painted (Brooke, Chris and Walt)
Coming home from church on Saturday night
Ellie spotted some hot air balloons going up in a field

 By the time we got back to Brooke's house they were
overhead firing up to get over the trees

Now this week we went over so they could do the trim

New color

Ellie has graduated to the smaller Legos
and does very well with them

Now they'll make the new memories with them
