Trip to Filer, Idaho

After getting home from Flaming Gorge, Utah we set out for Filer, Idaho
Mel & Gary decided to buy our old Nash trailer
so we were delivering it to them.
Coming down in to Selah, WA

Hops had been harvested

The rolling hills are beautiful

Some grapes were still on the vines

Looks like rain ahead

We stayed the night in La Grande at Hot Lakes RV Resort

Nice Park

Ducks were abundant

Nice little stream out back

A branch of the Oregon Trail went thru the park

Guess it wasn't 165 degrees that day because the
ducks were in the water

Very friendly, they came running when they saw us

We did get a little rain
Snake River meandering along side the freeway

Windmills

Snake River Gorge from the bridge in Twin Falls, Wow!

Mel & Gary took us out on the Snake River in their new boat
You can see the steam from some of the hot springs emptying
into the Snake

Mel's chillin' while we were waiting for Gary to
come back from parking the truck

Push off

Beautiful

The houses up river were gorgeous

Heron on the bank

It was a spectacular day to be on the river

Blue Heart Springs coming into the river makes
the water very clear in that area

Gary was having fun

Lots of activity on the river

More houses

with more toys

The aquifers had lots of water pouring out of them

Smaller homes down river but still lots of toys

We disrupted some geese

Heading back

Fun boat ride, Fun Day!!

Michelle had drinks ready when we got home

Mel's yard looked great

The boat has a place
And now the trailer has a place

There garden getting to the end

New Red Bark Dogwoods along the fence line

Looking Good

Heading home

In to Ellensburg

Was a fun trip.
Thanks Mel & Gary and Michelle for a great time.
