Trip to California

Walt went hunting so I booked a flight to California 

Well I asked Brooke if she wanted to go first then she booked

flights for all of us

I went over to Brooke's and rode to the airport with her

Ellie's preschool had a pumpkin carving night

The pumpkin had to be cleaned out before coming

to the carving

I entertained Pete

While Chris did the carving

Then snacks of course

Good looking snacks too

Pete was clapping at the singing

Tried on the costumes to make sure they fit

Ellie is Blue from Blue's Clues

and Pete's a shark

or as Ellie tells everyone

Pete the Cat Destroyer Shark

We made time for a Fall walk on our path

Then the airplane ride

And Amy's house

We destroyed that too

Games were played

Claire fixed my hair

We went to Cade's baseball games

Claire kept score for a while

Andrew had his 40th Birthday while we were there

The baseball team celebrated with

plates of whipping cream

Poor Andrew

They really got him good

We went down to the public library for some pics 

of the cousins

They have a nice backdrop there

and fun things to climb on

And then Halloween

Pete gets himself into some fixes

Reading with Claire

Another ball game, they won 3 out of 4

and they are playing up in the 12 and under

league.  They were winning all the games in 11u

Claire and Ellie opted for the playground

She's her mother's daughter

Back home at play with cousins

No we didn't go without taking LuLu and Bob

Cousin hugs

A family that brushes together....

Back on the plane and heading home

It was a fast, fun trip
