We haven't been over to Brooke's for 'Wednesdays with Gram & Pa'
in a long time. So we went over and played
Ellie's dogs were sick so we had to examine them and
everyone had to wear masks
Pete helped with the shots
Ellie put all her 'peeps' in her pocket apron
while Pete kept busy playing with this jar and Legos
and his shapes
and his pig. Some fit, some didn't
Ellie made a train that could hold the dogs on top
She told me she needed a chassy so I had to hunt
one down for her in the Lego stash
While Pete took his nap, Ellie and I moved into the office
and Ellie set up seating for the 'peeps' to watch
a movie on TV
She is so creative
When Pete woke up we went outside to help Mommy
& Pa clear the space for the swing set and sandbox
Everyone helped
This tub was full of sand that we got in Oregon a couple years ago
Pete is now old enough to get his hands in and throw the sand out
The water tub was fun until Charlie showed up
On to the Dahlia patch
with balance beam and all
and a quick sit in the cold chairs
