Brynn's Wedding

One of our good friend's daughter got married on Saturday
They planned an outdoor wedding at Raspberry Farms in Poulsbo
That was the one day this week that was predicted to
have RAIN and they meant RAIN
2" by the time the wedding started.
Needless to say the wedding was moved indoors

Jamie, Dave, and Ron Carlberg
Catering was behind the curtain

Terese did the archway

Ron hugging Beth (Hoey) and her husband to the right

Doug, Jan, Kieran, and Carol
The desserts were on the counter behind them

The brides maids dresses were all the same but they could
tie the top up anyway they wanted.  They are short with
high rubber boots.  Shane officiating!

Kieran Ryan from NY doing a reading

Exchange of rings

Brynn & Ben Mastel

Brynn's nieces blew bubbles instead of throwing
rose pedals.
Left to right: Lucy, Ainslee, Chloe, and Elise

Back of Brynn's dress all bustled up

Maid of Honor, Holly, giving a toast

Ron's toast was a little longer. He just
threw each page on the floor when he was done with it.

Cutting of the cake

Dancing pictures are hard to get clear
Kara on the left (bride's maids dress and boots)

Flower girl (Lucy) dress under the jean jacket
Too cute!!  Even 7 mo. old little Nelle had a dress
like this with a jean jacket

The wedding was beautiful even if it had to be inside!

Costumes Preview

I thought I was done making Halloween costumes.
I figured Cade and Claire could loan theirs out to Ellie and Pete.
Guess I was wrong.  Since I made them with flannel so
they could be pajamas after Halloween most of the
costumes have been well worn and others have been
stored away.
I guess Ellie and Pete need some of their own to
wear out or store away!!

Claire sent this letter back in July
How could I say NO??

This one was marked "read first"
I went on the internet and printed a couple vampire
costumes on the back, you can see them thru the paper

I think she might be more interested in the
vampire face than the costume
Such an artist though!!

My cape rendition

The pictures I downloaded had a vest so I made one.
I told her she needs a white long sleeved t-shirt
and black pants.  I made the white cuffs to add
to the white t-shirt

Back of the vest

I'm still making the vampire hair
Shiny satin with a widows peak

Ellie asked for a Blue's Clues costume
Whatever that is...I downloaded pictures from
the computer.  Hope I got the tail right

I put a red bag inside the hat so you could see it

Might be a little big but she can play in it all winter

And Brooke thought it would be cute for Pete to be a Shark

Have you ever seen a shark pattern?
Me either...another download on the computer
for pictures of a shark costume

Fin and all

I'll post Halloween pictures for sure, the
costumes will be way cuter with little people in them!!

Go Claire!! Finals

Claire was in the Cross Country Finals
for 3rd grade girls in El Dorado County

Claire is the last green t-shirt
on the left in the back

She came in 27th out of 128 girls
Not bad for your first year
Awesome Claire!!
Now on to Lacrosse, Oh My!

Claire is running cross country this year

Looking Good

She came in 8th place

Twice now
Yeah Claire

Look who won another Weekend Tournament

The Hornets went to Carson City, NV for another
Tournament

and came home Champions
which means they won all 4 games that weekend

Cade's number 52

Nice Job Cade and Coach

Ellie & Pete

After our vacations it was time for a trip to Seattle
Lots going on over there
Ellie's 3 years old and Pete's now 8 months old

Ellie was watching Pa cut down some bushes in the front yard

Pete has started scooting across the floor

He gets over to something and pulls himself up

and walks around that

He keeps himself amused pretty well
But you have to keep an eye on him

Ellie starts ballet this month

But she wouldn't do any of the positions for me standing up

So I got some pics of her doing them laying down

Funny Girl

Pete just scoots along and climbs up where ever he can

He crosses his legs like Charlie does
he's learning dog tricks

He's a good eater

Even signs 'more' & 'milk'
waves bye bye too

But Ellie knows how to sign 'more' the right way she said  :o)
