Visit from Ellie & Pete

Brooke and the kids came over so Brooke could go out to 

lunch for a friend's 40th birthday and to celebrate Walt's

birthday a little early

Of course Gram has all these little vehicles to try out again

  Ellie has been riding a 'balance bike' in their yard for a while

but the driveway is so steep that it's hard to get much time in.

Then Brooke and Ellie saw this bike along side the road on their

walk with a FREE sign on it and brought it home.

They took it to the park one day and Ellie just got on it and

road away.  

 Go Mom!  Brooke rode the bike down the driveway 

 and Ellie rode it back up

 All while Pete quietly napped

 Now Pete is on the 'balance bike'

 He loves it

 Ellie did a craft for Daddy

She actually picked all the stuff up later

 I'm sure Daddy will love it

 Celebrating Pa's birthday with an apple pie

 Pete wants to be a cat for Halloween and I 

wanted to see if he was going to be okay with

the cat face painted on.  He was!

More outside time before heading home and before the

rains start!!
