Bandon

This wasn't our usual year to go to Bandon.  We
try to meet up with Mel and Marci's families
every other year, but this year Scott's family
was going to join us.  Then the CoVid hit.
Some decided they didn't want to risk getting
everyone together from so many places. So it ended
up being the usual group.  Some of the families
had very little cases in there communities and
others had more.  We practices social distancing
with those concerned.

And enjoyed the beach just the same

We had the best weather ever!!
Cade and Claire
...they'll be disappointed I only got pics
of them climbing this small rock and not the really high ones.
I didn't take my camera down to the beach every day
We rented a bigger house a little north of the old one.
It turned out better for our needs.  3 bdrms 3 baths
 Ellie turned 8
and loved making her own cake
 Pete loved helping
Sunset one night
 Moon rise one night
Some mornings there was marine air but burnt off quickly

Low tides were at a reasonable hour  8,  9,  10am

Got to see all the different wood the winter
storms brought in last year
Ellie and I match colors.  The best pic of Pete we could
get from him
 She's adorable

 Then everyone needed a rest

Tide pools were the big draw with the littles
Some of the sea life at low tide
Sea Anemones
 Starfish and Chiton
 Barnacles
 Muscles
 Dr. Suess trees
 Limpets
 Sea snails

Big Limpet
 Sea Family
Claire actually got up one morning at low tide
 Not real excited!!
 Face Rock
 Wizard's Hat
 Sand dunes to play in

 Another species of Sea Family
 Cooler evenings
 More pretty sunsets
 Gooseneck barnacle
Low tide shows a lot of stuff you don't see otherwise
The water was cold but you can't stop teenagers when
there are good waves...Cade heading out
Cade going out, Claire, Araya, and Trin coming in
Claire, Triniti, and Araya back at it
 Cade riding in
 Claire and Triniti
 Glug, glug
 Non teenagers  Ellie and Pete
Like I said we had beautiful weather, sunny and warm
(well in the mid 60's warm for the ocean) everyday.
No wind was the biggest plus!

Missed Scott and his whole family and Monte and family
hopefully when we try it again we will pick a good week
maybe if we let Mel do that part.
Love to ALL

Got home just in time to see
my Ridgecrest cactus blooming again this year
two blossoms on one of them
The cactus on the left has 3 buds on it
we'll see if they bloom
Mine blooms later than other peoples I guess
because it's colder up here
